Homelessness in New York City

ONE PEARL is a newly founded, faith-based shelter committed to restoring dignity, purpose, and hope in the lives of women and children facing crisis, poverty, or homelessness.

Inspired by Matthew 13:45–46, we believe every woman is a pearl of great price — valuable, loved, and created with purpose. Our mission is to walk alongside each woman as she journeys toward healing, stability, and independence.

Though we are in our early stages, we are actively building a foundation of compassionate care, Christ-centered programs, and community partnerships to meet both the practical and spiritual needs of those we serve -and through our compelling advocacy - we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty

We extend emergency support and transitional housing, while developing programs focused on:

    •    Secure, long-term housing solutions

    •    Meaningful employment and job readiness

    •    Emotional and spiritual wellness

    •    Parenting and life skills development

    •    Healthy relationships and personal growth

We serve as an expression of God’s grace — offering a safe place, a kind word, and the love of Christ to every woman who walks through our doors.
